| Gigantor was formed in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 6th 2006. The band was the next incarnation of Giant (which formed in 2002) by Rizky (vocals) and Irfan (drums). In the absence of their bandmates, they decided to recruit their former bandmates from both highschool band. Then came Dipo (guitar) and Barata (bass) to complete their line-up and made the band lives again. In the beginning, Gigantor played cover versions of their idol such as KISS, Pantera, Black Sabbath, Slayer and Anthrax. As time goes by, Gigantor now perform their own songs and also record them. But never forget to pay tribute to their roots and play their favourite heavy/thrash metal tune. |
