Java Rockin'land is Back

The biggest rock festival in Indonesia, with the concept of combining dozens of Indonesian and international musicians, is back to satisfy the thirst of Indonesian music lovers. Java Rockin'land, which will be held 2 days this year, is organized by Java Festival Production and is scheduled to be held on the 22nd-23rd of June 2013 at Pantai Carnaval Ancol, Jakarta. The melting pod of Rock Stars will be shown on 6 stages with more than 36 performances in 2 days on all the stages.

Suicidal Tendencies, the American Metal Band which was formed in 1981 and is known as "The Father of Crossover Thrash", will be one of the International band that will on the lineup of the Fourth Java Rockin'land Festival. This band has just released their 13th album last March with the title "13". Since this band was formed, they have achieved several Grammy nominations. Some known hits of Suicidal Tendencies are "You Can Bring Me Down", "Institutionalized", and "Nobody Hears".

The second International band to confirm the Festival is Collective Soul. An American Rock Band with 8 released albums will perform on the 23rd of June. Their performance will consist of Ed Roland (Vocal), Dean Roland (Rhythm Guitar), Will Turpin (Bass), Joel Kosche (Lead Guitar), Ryan Hoyle (Drums). Collective Soul is know for their hits were Shine, Gel, December, Heavy, and Run to name a few. The song "December" won the Billboard Music Award.

The Last Dinosaurs is a new Australian Band that will give a different feel to the Festival. The band released their first full album "In A Million Years" in 2012. The album made the Australian Top 10 Debut right after the release. They have participated in Festivals in Australia performing with the likes of We Are Scientist and Foals.

The success Java Rockin'land since the first Festival was held in 2009, was by presenting known knew and legendary International bands such as Vertical Horizon, Secondhand Serenade, Mr. Big, Good Charlotte, 30 second to mars, Third Eye Blind, Mew, Melee, Arkarna, The Smashing Pumpkins, Neon Trees, The Cranberries, and Indonesian Bands such as Slank, Gigi, /Rif, Superman is Dead, Killed by Butterfly, Naviculla, Gugun Blues Shelter, PAS Band, Sheila on 7 and many more. In 2009, the Festival was able to attract approximately 46.000 spectators , which was an impressive success of the first International Rock Music Festival in Indonesia. A great success was followed at the Java Rockin'land in 2010 and 2011, by an increase of spectators totaling to approximately 54.000 in 2011, and The Festival was able to get positive review by the media and music analysts especially on the increase of the quality of Java Rockin'land every year.

The program with the different rock genres prepared by the Java Festival Production was able to maintain the success of the festival since 2009, when Java Rockin'land was held for the first time. The diversity of the genre in Java Rockin'land 2013 is expected to be able to let spectators enjoy the festival, because it allows them to choose between the stages that presents different performances. The 4th Edition of Java Rockin'land is presented to "Rock" Jakarta as the tagline is "We're gonna rock you harder than ever". Java Festival Production's team has prepared the festival since March 2013 and for the first time, Java Rockin'land will be sponsored by IM3 of PT. Indosat Tbk.
